Considering how difficult it is to amend the Constitution, there are far better and more significant changes we could focus on if we wanted to go through the effort.Ron E.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6926413038778731189.post-68384081024120450432011-06-22T12:59:55.620-05:002011-06-22T12:59:55.620-05:00Looks fascinating. Traditionally in most places in the US the standard is that anyone eligible to vote in a given election is therefore also eligible to run in that election. This rule is very reliable for state elections, but isn't true in all federal elections; there's the age exception and congressman like mine, Canseco, don't have to live in their districts, but that's another problem.Jasonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6926413038778731189.post-89720468966067753812011-06-22T10:20:59.636-05:002011-06-22T10:20:59.636-05:00I don't think there is anything wrong with it....I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It will still be up to the voters who should represent them, and you certainly can't argue older people/politicians are more mature.roseonpoliticshttp://www.roseonpolitics.comnoreply@blogger.com
