The problem here is that the House, with...Jonathan,<br />The problem here is that the House, with simple majority rules, doesn't allow for the double-speak of the Senate where Senators may support red-meat without worrying that it will come to a real vote, or pass. House members such as Ryan, especially senior ones, have to put forward responsible legislation that will pass the Senate. <br />Therefore, going forward, more back-benchers will make runs, but will lack the depth of networking to make the nomination, except in cases where the party is very ideologically-oriented, such as the GOP now.Anonymous At Worknoreply@blogger.com
