Catch of the Day

Gotta love this: Sarah Goodyear, over the the Grist, discovered that long before George Will decided that liberals liked high-speed rail because they hate individualism, Will himself championed high-speed rail in the context of national security.

As it happens, I'm of the opinion that hypocrisy is a very much overrated political sin. On the other hand, sanctimony deserves all the scorn that can be heaped on it. So I'm happy to see this one. Great catch!

  1. That's flip flopping not hypocrisy. It's also an overrated political sin, of course.
