I'd just like to po...Thanks for the kind words. I'd just like to point out that, outside of a random week or two in my wannabe hippie days, I have never lived in San Francisco, either. But growing up in a working-class suburb of The City gave San Francisco a glow of possibilities for me. I've lived in Berkeley for almost four decades now, and I'm not sorry ... SF is too big for me.
