Ezra Klein tweets that "@annielowrey has the best take -- and by far the best headline -- on the Dow passing 11,000." He's probably right; her item is fine. But for my money, I'd much rather spend Friday afternoon enjoying a good post explaining how the Bush tax cuts are responsible for the surging stock market, and if I had Plain Blog t-shirts I'd gladly give one to anybody who can find a good example of such a thing.
Barring that, I'll link for newer readers to two older relevant posts: one explaining GOP economics, and the other wondering where the liberal hack economists are (and see an explanation from Floyd Norris today). Mostly, though, if anyone sees any conservative explanation for the stock market over the last fifteen years or so, I'd really like to see it.
