With the New Hampshire debate coming up, I'm going back to presidential candidates again. As I've said, I think that it's increasingly likely that the nominee will be Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, or Rick Perry (with the other plausible choices being Jeb Bush and Sarah Palin, but Bush really doesn't look like he's getting in and Palin....well, she's another story).
So just thinking for now about Romney, Pawlenty, or Perry: do you anticipate that there would be important policy differences between them on core GOP issues if they were in the White House? If so, on what? Or are we getting to where Democrats were in 2008, when the differences between the candidates were based more on style, experience, and other such things?
