Where can I find a link to your RSS feed over there?
ReplyDeleteStill don't have one, alas. They traditionally haven't had them, but they will after a site redesign happening sometime in the next few weeks.
DeleteI'm saddened by the mobile support over there. It doesn't show comments on the Sunday questions, and there's no option for view full site, either, that I could find.
ReplyDeleteThe comments never come up on the Bloomberg site. I like not only Jonathan's post, but the comments as well. They are always worth reading.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone --
ReplyDeleteSome of these things will probably be better after the redesign. Certainly (at least they've told me) the rss feed will show up. I'm not sure which of the others will be fixed, but we'll see...it should be sometime by mid-February.
Sad to see you go. I miss the informal, personal quality of blogs--also, I always wonder how much control the author retains when he skips to some major published site--I never read 538 any more, for instance--it is utterly dull. Wish you much luck however, and glad for your success.
ReplyDeleteSo far: very minor editing. Absolutely nothing else...I suppose there may be a little self-editing, making it a bit more formal.
DeleteOh, and the titles are mostly them, with contributions from me, except (obviously) for the running items that remain my titles.
So I hope you'll give it a try! And generally, everyone...if you think I'm losing what you like about plain blog, let me know; on the Bloomberg side, they're actively encouraging me to be myself, so it's probably me, not them.
(I do have to conform to their stylebook rules, so that's something...OTOH, presumably none of you are missing the typos over there).
your best bet is just to go over to my main page there.
ReplyDeleteThis? I wish they'd make it full text like a blog.
Okay, I see your next post had this link, my question is how the heck are you supposed to get there from one of the article?
DeleteTo see how Hillary really messed things up read:

Hello JB. I tried the bloomburg site. Your writing is still interesting and thoughtful, but i will miss the conversation in comments that i found here plain blog. the comments over there might as well be on msnbc or fox. All gotcha and no substance or conversation. I will miss your blog.
ReplyDeleteSome of us regulars are still trying to comment over there. Join us! All is not lost, yet.
DeleteIs there an RSS feed at Bloomberg View?
ReplyDeleteWhatever is wrong with the process can be traced back to Fox News... http://usavoterinfo.blogspot.com/2014/01/fox-news-has-gotten-worse-and-there-is.html
ReplyDeleteif Fox News would shut up, we'd all be better off...
ReplyDeleteI won't be seeing anything of yours until the promised RSS support appears. I'll defer unsubscribing from this feed for a while. Would have been nice/better if RSS were there before the move.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it will appear as promised. We're almost into "a few weeks" by now....
Recently I read about this young conservative and proud republican Florida candidate for Senate: Brandon M. Cannon. He called my attention because I belive a new generation of politics is needed:
