If Mitt Romney wins, what do you expect him to do in Afganistan? In Iran?

    1. It would be more accurate to say that the blog is openly hostile to conservatives, so you don't have that many reading/interacting any more.

    2. Also, half the replies to the "for Conservatives" questions seem to come from liberals. So that might have a little something to do with it, too.

  2. I expect him to do what he is promising us, ditch Afghanistan and nuke Iran.

  4. Double down in contractors and fall sway to warmongers.

...That is what other Republicans have done, after all.

    1. John Kerry and Hilary Clinton both voted for the Iraq war. Obama followed Bush's lead with his surge in Afghanistan and there are still thousands of contractors supporting our presence in Iraq. The use of drones has actually increased under the current administration. Hannity interviewed Dick Cheney recently and the only bad thing he could say about Obama's policy is that he doesn't call it a "war on terror."

Don't let the truth get in the way of your partisan indignation!

    2. Please, don't your partisan indignation obscure your complete disregard for facts. Obama said from the start during the 2008 campaign that he would draw down in Iraq and would increase presence in Afghanistan, because he understood that if war is on, then you'd better f*ing complete the mission. Obama defined the mission in Afghanistan as decimating al Qaeda and the Taliban, and he has done that. No doubt our final withdrawal will be followed in swift order by a civil war, but he never said we have to build a nation there. If the Taliban or al Qaeda regain footholds there over time, it will not be without major consequences. One only needs to look at the drone war and you just know that Obama won't be ditching that anytime soon after the troops withdraw.

Now I'll post another in response to Jonathan's question.

    3. Eric, are you talking to me? What did I say that was not in accordance with the facts?

  5. 1. He will do what any well-advised Republican Commander in Chief would do: cut and run like a coward.

    2. He will talk a big game, and do exactly what Obama has done -- tighten the sanction noose.
