Harold Ford, Jr. that is -- and for what office?  How about Illinois Lt. Governor!

Hey, there's an opening; in case anyone missed it what with the Super Bowl and all yesterday, Scott Lee Cohen proved less-than-impervious to pressure and dropped out over the weekend.  That's Scott Lee Cohen, of "I thought she was just a masseuse when I held a knife to her throat!" fame.  Anyway, with him out of the way, Illiniois Dems get to choose a replacement, and I nominate Ford.  After all, ambitious politicians deserve to be rewarded, and a few years in Springfield seems like a perfect reward for this particular ambitious pol.  No?
