Oh, I don't know...if the hype about how important this shopping week is to the entire shopping season, then maybe that's it, but I have no idea whether that hype is true or not. I'm pretty sure it's not the president's basketball injury.

China and Russia not using US currency any longer
ReplyDeleteNorth Korea firing on South Korea mattered this week. But that's too serious to contemplate.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think the conviction of Tom DeLay is going to matter, and I'd like to think the SPLC's designation of Family Research Council is going to matter,i.e., force better behavior and a general rejection of their anti-gay politics. And I still hope that the general backlash against intrusive airport security procedures will eventually bring an end to politically motivated security theater. Maybe it's just the post-Thanksgiving L-tryptophan fuzzy optimistic glow driving that, though.
