With Congress almost done for the year...what do you think of the results? More than you expected after the 2010 landslide? Less? What's your biggest disappointment? The happiest surprise?

OK, what does the lack of comments on this question vs many comments on the liberal question say about your readership?
ReplyDeleteMost likely, that more liberals read the blog than conservatives. This obviously indicates that Prof. Bernstein should keep his thoughts to himself, his students, and his academic research, and not continue to sully the internet with such garbage.
ReplyDeleteI think per capita discretionary federal spending going down in real terms for both fiscal years 2011 and 2012 is a considerable accomplishment of the 112th Congress, and it was made possible only by the Republican victories in the 2010 midterm election. This is what conservatives are elected to do. The biggest disappointment to date is that Rep. Issa's Fast and Furious investigation has not yet seriously harmed the image of the Obama Administration among the general electorate. But developments in 2012 may change that.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the lack of commemts says something about the state of conservatism, and that few conservatives are capable of talking about governing in a meaningful way?
