Read Stuff, You Should

Another day with lots of good choices. I'll go with a Happy Birthday to Al Stewart, 67.

And to the good stuff:

1. Dan Drezner says to college students: read Thomas Kuhn. Excellent advice!

2. A good Scott Lemieux post about the Justice Department decision to give up on any torture prosecutions. I continue to believe that prosecution was not necessarily the right way to proceed -- but "nothing" was far and away and certainly not the right way to proceed. At best, they've absolutely bungled this, and I agree with Lemieux: "a permanent black mark on the Obama administration."

3. Andrew Sprung on Michelle Obama's speech.

4. Women's rights and gay rights -- E.J. Graff.

  1. Jonathan, I began reading Andrew Sprung because you sometimes link here and in your blogroll.

Just wanted to thank you for that.

Looking forward to your reactions on Michelle Obama's speech.
