Gotta love this: Sarah Goodyear, over the the Grist, discovered that long before George Will decided that liberals liked high-speed rail because they hate individualism, Will himself championed high-speed rail in the context of national security.
As it happens, I'm of the opinion that hypocrisy is a very much overrated political sin. On the other hand, sanctimony deserves all the scorn that can be heaped on it. So I'm happy to see this one. Great catch!
