Greg Walden (R-OR): ...some of the conferees were not available to meet because they weren't exactly in the country. So that wasn't going to happen until we were both back in session. Now I believe the State of the Union was Tuesday night the 24th; I believe that's the day that the Senate came back...
Rob Andrews (D-NJ): Would the Gentleman yield?
Walden: Sure.
Andrews: Is the Gentleman asserting that the Senate was in recess until January 24?
Walden: I believe it was.
Andrews: That means the Senate...the Gentleman must support President Obama's appointments to the Labor --
Walden: Well, I reclaim my time. That's cute and clever. That's not -- you know and I know that's not exactly the same issue...
