Happy Birthday to Jan Smithers, 63.
Want some good stuff?
1. Helpful explanation from Phil Galewitz of Kaiser about what's going on with the states and Medicaid. But I think what you really want is Ezra Klein's piece on the logic of why the states will find it hard not to go along eventually. And Sarah Kliff on the states who have already started the Medicaid expansion. My only thought? I wouldn't put too much weight on the immediate reactions from Republican governors. They may follow through -- but then again they may not.
2. And David S. Bernstein, who should remember to call his mother today, on "Romney's Shadow Bain Years."

Another thing to keep in mind regarding Republican governors declining the Medicaid expansion? They won't be in office forever. Many conservative governors screamed about the original Medicaid provisions, too, but every single state got on board eventually.
