Franke-Ruta suggesting GOPers throttle back on sexism is like advising them to go back to hiding their racism, etc. etc. I conclude that they just can't help themselves. They are in a self-reinforcing loop of total unconsciousness, of the shadow that controls the vote-seekers especially in the presence of their voters. You don't need political scientists to explain them. You need Jung.
