Sunday Question for Conservatives

Just in terms of electoral interests, what is the best outcome for the Republican Party on immigration?

  1. No amnesty for illegals and a reduction in the amount of low skilled immigration. Poor Latinos will not vote GOP and reducing immigration is the only GOP policy I know that would benefit low income voters.

    1. A decrease in low skilled immigrant labor (read: labor outside of minimum wage laws) would cause cost of production in most industries to rise, correct? Which in turn would likely rise prices on goods and services, no? Don't know if business leaders (GOP supporters usually) or low income folks would appreciate that.
