Re Kevin Drum: Obama did as promised in the 2008 campaign on Afghanistan and drone strikes. He dragged his feet on Libya and did virtually nothing for years on Syria. Only on chemical weapons did he move (too) fast, and only after this latest much clearer use than previous times.
